From May 16 to 18, the 23rd China Biologics Conference (CBioPC2024), one of the oldest, highest academic level and most influential academic events in the field of biomedicine in China, was held in Guangzhou for the first time. At 9:00 am on May 16, the conference kicked off, and the opening ceremony was presided over by Fu Centennial, Vice president of China Vaccine Industry Association.

Academician Xu Tao of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Martin of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Tian Zhigang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Academician Wang Junzhi of the Chinese Academy of Engineering respectively made wonderful thematic reports on the innovation of intelligent manufacturing equipment for biological products, gene therapy based on adenovirus as a cahhier, synthetic immunology strategy of cell therapy, and the development trend of vaccines in China in the context of post-COVID-19. All participants benefited a lot from the presentation, and applause continued during the presentation.
This conference invited experts, scholars and outstanding young scientists who have made outstanding achievements and have important academic influence in the field of biomedicine, and set up the main venue around the cutting-edge technology of biomedicine. It also opened 11 sub-conferences, including vaccine quality and research, recombinant therapeutic biological products, immune cells, stem cells and gene therapy, clinical research on innovative biological products, preventive vaccination, blood products, international cooperation on vaccines, biopharmaceutical engineering technology, application of AI in the field of biomedicine, and digital transformation of biomedicine, and organized nearly 200 academic reports.
